Decora Layered Heart Cake

  •  210 g of flour 00
  •  75 g of bitter cocoa
  •  240 g of sugar
  •  150 ml of milk
  •  150 g of milk chocolate chips
  •  75 ml of oil
  •  4 eggs
  •  1 sachet of yeast for desserts
  •  vanilla extract
  •  a pinch of salt

For decoration:

  • 100 ml of whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • berries

In a bowl, beat the eggs with your #KitchenAid hand mixer whisk attachment. Switch the the beater attachments & gradually add the sugar and continue to work the mixture until it becomes clear and frothy. Sift the flour, baking powder and cocoa and gradually add them to the eggs, mixing with a spatula. Slowly pour the milk and then the oil into the bowl, stirring constantly. Finally add the vanilla extract, a pinch of salt and the chocolate chips. Divide the dough by pouring it into the heart-shaped pans previously sprayed with the spray release agent or oil. Bake in the oven at 180° for about 35 minutes. Leave to cool and, in the meantime, prepare the filling: whip the cold cream with the sugar, then transfer it to a piping bag with a large round piping tip and fill the layers with cream. Assemble the cake layers and finish off the decoration with berries of your choice.
